Schwarzman Scholars is a highly-selective, fully-funded scholarship program designed to ensure that the next generation of business, political, and civil society leaders can effectively serve as bridges between China and the rest of the world.
Anchored in an 11-month professional Master’s Degree in Global Affairs at Beijing’s prestigious Tsinghua University, the program provides Scholars with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, engage in high-level interactions with Chinese leaders and visiting speakers, and learn from world-class faculty through a dynamic core curriculum and concentrations in Economics and Business, International Studies, and Public Policy.
The Schwarzman Scholars experience also encompasses unparalleled opportunities in and outside of the classroom, including extensive leadership training, practical training/internships, a network of senior mentors, and travel seminars around China.
Last August, the inaugural class of Schwarzman Scholars, which includes the Swiss Study Foundation student Jasmin Stadler, started their exciting year at Tsinghua University’s Schwarzman College. In December, Schwarzman Scholars announced its second class, a remarkable group of young leaders from 30 countries and 75 universities around the world. Applications for 2018/2019 class will open in April 2017.
